Our Programs
We offer a variety of programs at Krishnalaya to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Our programs include toddler enrichment, art, music, play doh, hand painting and tumbling tots yoga. Ask about our 2 day 2T and 3 day 3T programs designed especially for a toddler’s wholesome growth. Inspired by Patanjali’s Ashtanga yoga principles, cognitive science, and timeless ancient scriptural approaches to mindful learning, our program is thoughtfully designed to nurture the whole child.
Rather than separating each skill into individual classes, we bring together movement, creativity, mindfulness, practical life skills, and cognitive development into one balanced enrichment experience.

Our Story
More than 20 years ago, I was a young parent on a mission—searching for an affordable preschool or childcare option for my two-year-old son. Like so many parents, I wanted him to have meaningful, age-appropriate learning experiences, but I wasn’t ready for full-time separation or the high cost that often comes with it. I was simply looking for something gentle, enriching, and just a few hours at a time.
After a long search, I finally found a small program that felt like a perfect fit—a two-day class for two-year-olds and a three-day class for three-year-olds. It was exactly what I had hoped for. Sadly, it only lasted a year before closing its doors. From there, I enrolled my son in a Montessori preschool a bit farther from home, continuing the journey in a new direction.
But that experience stayed with me.
I didn’t just become a parent navigating early education—I became deeply engaged in it. The needs of the preschool led me to serve two years as Secretary of the school’s Board of Directors, where I saw firsthand what it truly takes to run a thriving early childhood program. I learned about classroom environments, teacher-child relationships, curriculum design, enrollment, fundraising, marketing, and the day-to-day heart of school operations. Combined with years of working closely with children and families, those experiences planted a clear idea in me: I wanted to create the kind of program I once searched for as a parent.
That vision became our Children’s Enrichment Studio.
We are not a traditional childcare center or preschool. Instead, we are a creative, skill-building studio designed to spark curiosity and prepare children for school—and for life. Our focus is on nurturing the whole child: cognitive, social, emotional, creative, and physical development, all woven together in meaningful, hands-on experiences.
We believe young children learn best when they are moving, exploring, creating, and playing. Because attention spans are naturally short at this age, our classes are intentionally dynamic, engaging, and full of variety. Children build skills step by step through focused classes, and also experience enrichment sessions that blend multiple activities into one exciting, well-rounded experience.
Just like learning a musical instrument or a sport, growth comes through practice and repetition. That’s why our programs are designed to grow with your child—offering just the right level of challenge at every stage, while encouraging confidence, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Whether your child lights up during yoga, art, cooking, sewing, movement, puzzles, games, or imaginative exploration, our studio is a place where they can try new things, discover passions, and build a strong foundation for the future.
